Filmmaker Ramenahalli Jagannatha believes that OTT platforms have been beneficial for emerging directors. Currently working on his second project, "Theertharoopa Thandeyavarige," set to be filmed in Kalasa, Kudremukh, and Mudigere starting in October, Jagannatha describes the film as a dysfunctional family drama exploring a single parent's love for his son. Drawing inspiration from literature, particularly the works of authors like Poornachandra Tejaswi, SL Bhyrappa, and Shivaram Karanth, Jagannatha highlights the importance of emotions in his storytelling. He also discusses the challenges new filmmakers face in bringing their visions to life, emphasizing the need for various elements to align and the iterative nature of the creative process.
